About Diplomate National Board (DNB)
The Diplomate qualification awarded by the National Board of Examinations are equated with the postgraduate and post doctorate degrees awarded by other Indian Universities for all purposes including appointment to teaching posts as lecturer/Assistant Professor by the Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The primary objective is to improve quality medical education by establishing standards and elevating the level of Post Graduate examinations in modern medicine across India. Adhering to strict guidelines and conducting periodic inspections, National Board of Examinations (NBE) closely monitors the DNB and programmes while emphasising on ethical medicine.The first batch of DNB surgery was in year 2010, making our institute the first of its kind in North Karnataka to offer a postgraduate DNB qualification in General Surgery.We are Proud to announce that our institute has been accredited for 4 Primary DNB seats in Department of Diploma Anesthesia (DA) from this year onwards - January 2022 batch.
